Bio:
South Africa's premiere female metal vocalist, Axe signed with Inhouse Records in 1992 (aged 17), but after a dispute with the record company not paying her, she left music for 14 years. She has always been compared to vocalists Bruce Dickenson, Rob Halford and Eric Adams.
Now she is back, after producing and performing an end credit song for a UK horror film. Musician and filmmaker, Axe is headlining the WINDHOEK METALFEST end June 2009 and then will release FE-METAL, a mish-mash of metal variety and atmosphere. |
