I am an aspiring singer/songwriter from Dayton, Ohio. I write, produce, and record all my own music out of pure honesty. Keeping in mind the visceral sound of Nirvana, the songwriting of Bob Dylan, the pure artistry of Bright Eyes, and the melodic beauty of Elliott Smith, my current album, “Concerning the Heart and Soul,†has an alternative-folk feel to it; with fingerpicked acoustic guitar, harmonica, emotional vocals, and introspective and confessional lyrics. I believe that it has the kind of songs that, upon listen, what with their Lo-Fi sound, can invoke a feeling of being right in the room as the song is played. Currently, I’m trying to build a more solid fanbase by promoting my album through the combination of internet networking and local/regional performances. |
