today is February 21st, 2010. this is the first time i've logged in in a LONG time, after a reminder via email for contract request.
During my idling away from this website, a fellow user of this service found me after listening to examples of my work and invited me to audition as a bass player for his band. it will have been 8 months since day one when i walked into audition to try out and about 7 months since i was named the new bassist.
if you are interested to know, do some research on Destination : Oblivion. with the way things are going, we're going to be doing a few warm-up live shows soon and eventually take the latest studio LP out on the road.
when i am not doing bass duties for them, i am found at home noodling around with my own stuff when the mentality suits it best. i'm working on my 2nd studio LP of which I've slated to be due August 3rd, 2010.
when i am not working on that, i'm usually doing various other things that don't include music. sometimes, i feel like filling that void by helping other musicians out by doing some sort of recording or consultation with their work as to promote growth for that musician or group.
otherwise, my life is nothing but frequencies, time signatures, notes, frets, rhythms/polymeters, and so forth. it's engraved into my brain so much that it's about all i really and only know.
i'm game to work with any other people via the internet to create anything they might want/need, such as guitar or bass guitar tracks or some form of programming. i've got a small but impressive enough background that i am still building on a daily basis and that can be chronicled virtually through Arcane Addiction. research that, and also look at the official website for more information (including gear used, discography, etc.) |
